Yama refers to ethical guidelines that govern our behavior and interactions with others. These principles are universal and include non-violence (Ahimsa), truthfulness (Satya), non-stealing (Asteya), sense control (Brahmacharya), and non-possessiveness (Aparigraha).
Niyamas are personal practices centered on self-discipline and spiritual growth. I did my 200 h training teacher at upasana yogashala.The welcome is friendly and respectful.The premises are clean and the room are confortable and practical ( private bathroom and hot water, and balcony) I enjoyed the meals made from fresh produits everyday on site. The teachers are professionals,i was able to deepen my practice in hatha yoga. I was able to find out asthanga yoga with Rajesh, a Real révélation!! I was able to discover anatomy , philosophy and History of yoga, and some cleaning practice. Before and After this training , i take some daily class in upasana school, with ravi, mégha and rajesh.I am delighted with their teaching, rigorous, serious and respectfull. We were a small batch (just 6 students) with great teachers - what a luxury to learn from a teacher as great as Ravi Ji in such a small class! And apart from that, the whole team led by Rajesh Ji did a great job in taking care of us - it felt like a family and I already miss everyone a lot! Hope to come back soon.
