Origin of Yin yoga

Yin Yoga is rooted in the Taoist philosophy of Yin and Yang, representing complementary forces. This gentle and meditative practice focuses on slow, long-held postures that deeply affect tendons and connective tissues while promoting relaxation.

Typically practiced on the floor, poses are held for extended periods to enhance flexibility and foster a profound mind-body connection. Where Did Yin Yoga Come From?
